New subsidiary ViscoTec Asia in Singapore

The company ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH is now represented with a subsidiary in Singapore. With the establishment of ViscoTec Asia Pte.Ltd. the German engineering company serves now the entire ASEAN region.

The high demand for “Made in Germany” products made ??by ViscoTec in this region was a key reason for the Bavarian manufacturer of pumps and dosing technology to establish a branch in the area. “As a local contact person to maintain the proximity to customers and expand the range of services as well as the rapid availability of spare parts was a major concern to us, “said George Senftl, managing director of ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH.

Mr. Wolfgang Merklein, who will head the newly established subsidiary has specialized for years in this area and there has been a lot of contacts socialized during his professional activity at ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH. With his extensive expertise he can be at our customers disposal on site.
The Singapore office is the second overseas representative of the ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH. In November 2009 ViscoTec America, the office in Kennesaw, Georgia, was founded which has positioned itself on the American market very well.

pumping technology as garden decoration

The fact that rotors cannot only pump but also usable as decorative objects shows this photo. For this candleholder I used  a sorted out(!) two-stage rotor with size 40, which already got dusty of some years being in the basment, and I led made a suitable high-grade steel baseplate. Here we go! It was rather difficult to find the suitable candles - (nearly) all, which I could buy, had a too large or small diameter and don`t fit into the socket, in which normally the coupling rod sits. Unfortunately I do not recommend for imitation due to the fact of the today’s high-grade steel prices however.

Successful company anniversary

Three weeks ago our large firm anniversary took place: Resch Maschinenbau GmbH, ViscoTec GmbH and Power Heat Set GmbH celebrated on 16 June round birthdays (50,10,5)together. The celebration began at 15 o’clock with a factory tour of all three buildings with organized guidance. Not only for the members, friends and acquaintance this inspection was interesting, also for the employees themselves could look behind the scenes of the other companies. Then afterwards we celebrated in the tent with approx. 700 guests with a delicious meal and live music.

10 years of dosing, application, filling, conveying,…

As announced some time ago in June we will celebrate our 10-year firm anniversary. Now the time has come and we will have a large celebration of all three birthdays on coming Saturday: Resch Maschinenbau GmbH (our mother company) celebrates 50 years, power Heat Set GmbH (our affiliated firm) 5 years and we, ViscoTec celebrates 10 years. We will organize a large fixed tent on our firm area. With a small program (factory tour of all buildings, music, group photo, Buffet) we will celebrate our birthdays with approximately 700 employees and their families and friends.
